Copyright Licensing and Further Education

I'd be very interested to hear from like-minded people who deal with copyright licences in Further Education in the UK - I work at a college and administer 10 licences (not including any software licences or journal contracts etc) - I'm talking about Copyright Licensing Agency, Educational Recording Agency, Performing Rights Society etc etc.

I personally think the licensing issue is in danger of getting out of control and is becoming increasingly difficult to administer, understand and to communicate to colleagues and students who are the potential infringers.

Recent European legislation has introduced new rights which in turn are affecting/will affect a number of our licences, and surprise, surprise, are likely to lead to fee increases.

I may be a voice in the wilderness here, but I would like to hear from others to find out how you feel about this subject and would like to see changes made.
